I’m Kiko Matthews and in 2018 I broke the World Record for fastest womens’ solo row across the Atlantic Ocean. I raised over $200k for Kings College Hospital, who saved my life a few years previously.
I’m passionate about wellbeing, community and the environment. I believe that we can all make positive change if we work together as a community.
My next challenge - Plunket CycleNZ - will combine those passions and inspire everyone to challenge themselves.
Over about 70 days I will be e-cycling 5,500 kms (about 80km a day) over the roads and trails of New Zealand, all to support Plunket. My 3-year-old, Ocean, will join me for the ride in a special trolley/seat attached to my e-bike, and a full-time support driver will oversee safety.
Funds are urgently needed each year for Plunket's community groups so they remain available for Kiwi families with under-fives, no matter what. These groups include music and movement, play, neighbourhood, parent support and more. They are integral for families across the country to enhance their community and social connections.
Exciting opportunities are now available for Sponsorship, as well as opportunities for cycling enthusiasts to challenge themselves and support this exciting project in the process.
Sponsor Categories include
- Overall Naming Partner
