Can I host an afternoon tea, or dinner instead?

Of course! Your Dunk it for Plunket morning tea can be wherever and whatever you like!

Do I have to hold my event on a certain date?

No, we know one date might not suit everyone, so you're welcome to hold your fundraiser on any day in August.

I want to host a virtual event, is that still an option?

Yes of course. Just set up your fundraising page as normal and share it with your guests. You’ll still be able to take part in the fun morning tea games suggested in your box.

 How do I promote my event?

You can send out invitations via email or SMS, social media is a fantastic place to share your fundraising page. 

 If you're hosting your event at work, put posters up in your staffroom or ask if you can advertise on your internal communications channels.

How do I ask people for donations?

Don’t be afraid of asking – the main reason people donate is because they were asked. Tell your guests why Plunket is important to you. Remind them that every dollar will go towards supporting the needs of families across Aotearoa and helping tamariki (children) thrive. Many companies will match any funds you raise so it’s worth asking your boss if this is something they will do.

How do I share my page ?

When you are logged in, click on your name at the top of the page and select ‘Get Support’ from the menu. There you’ll see links, a QR code and options to share straight to popular social networks.

You can display your personalised QR code at your event so people can scan it to make donations.

What should I do if I receive cash donations at my morning tea?

The best option is to bank the cash donations against your own fundraising page - so bank the money into your own account, and then make a credit card payment to your own fundraising page for the amount banked. Alternatively, if you would like to bank the amount directly into a Plunket account - NZ Plunket Trust 02-0500-0964455-013, and use the reference DUNKIT. 

How much money do I have to fundraise?

There is no set amount that you have to raise but remember, that everyone that raises over $100 goes in to win the fantastic coffee machine worth $1,149.95  No matter how small or large, your fundraising will help our mission to support the needs of families across Aotearoa and help tamariki (children) thrive.

What is in my Dunk it for Plunket box?

Box contents may vary but each box contains a variety of morning tea goodies including biscuits, tea and coffee and some fun ideas for games to play at your morning tea.

When will I receive my Dunk it for Plunket box?

We’ll let you know when we’ve sent your Dunk if for Plunket box. Your box will be delivered to the address you gave us when you registered, so please get in touch if this has changed. Remember that we cannot deliver to PO Boxes, so please register using a physical address.

Why hasn’t my Dunk it for Plunket box arrived yet?

If we contacted you more than seven working days ago to tell you that box was on its way, and you still haven’t received it please get in touch at


What happens when I register for Dunk it for Plunket?

When you register we’ll walk you through creating a fundraising page (it’s easy, we promise). 

Share your page so your workmates, whānau, and friends can easily donate to your event.  

Invite people to your morning tea. Don't forget to include the link to your fundraising page!   

We will also ask for your address details when you register so we can send you a free Dunk for Plunket box full of goodies to host your morning tea. 

Look out for your host pack which will be delivered by the end of July. While you wait, here are some ideas for your morning tea.
